William Levy may be a famous model and actor who travels the world, but the star surprisingly revealed that he has never been to Spain, when he announced an upcoming trip to the country.

The 34-year-old actor and star, who is of Cuban-American decent, revealed that he has yet to visit Spain even though he has family from "the motherland."

Levy posted an image of himself dining with a close friend and made the announcement of his October visit to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram.

"Finishing up a great get together with my brother and associate @sierralta," the Cuban actor captioned the photo. "I will see you on Oct. 3!!! Finally I will be able to get to know the Motherland where my grandmother's family, who I love very much, came from. First destination in Spain will be Madrid. See you soon."

Other details about Levy's trip are still unknown.

In other news, however, Levy is currently rumored to possibly be starring in a new telenovela. According to TVyNovelas, the actor may be still be in the negotiation stages. Several sources close to the actor confirmed that Levy has been meeting with producers. Reportedly, Ignacio Sada, the producer of "Simplemente María," is trying to get Levy to run a few tests with the telenovela's lead actress, Claudia Álvarez.

Levy hasn't been shy about discussing his career plans. The actor recently mentioned during an interview that he wouldn't be opposed to starring in another telenovela, reported Latin Times.

"I would like to if there is an opportunity to do something nice and well taken care of for the audience, but I haven't gotten a call from [producer] Carla Estrada or anyone else," he said.
