Although breakups can be tough to deal with for a lot of people, one young Chinese woman took it to the extreme by throwing a tantrum in public after getting dumped by her boyfriend.

Apparently, a 24-year-old woman could not handle receiving a dreaded break up text message from her boyfriend. Once she realized that her boyfriend no longer wanted to be with her, she a threw herself down on the floor of a busy Hong Kong street and began contorting her body like a two-year-old child. She also did a headstand and other impressive poses during an epic 90-minute meltdown while onlookers watched in shock.

Some passersby tried to help the woman get up and offer her consolation. However she continued to scream and shriek on the floor.

The woman -- who was dressed in a sporty light blue shirt and short set paired with white sneakers -- also began screaming and shouting at passersby as they walked by in Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui district, reports The Mirror.

In video footage of the incident, it appears as if one onlooker managed to help her get off the floor and take a few steps, reports Yahoo! News. However, she eventually fell back on the floor once again and continued to throw a hissy fit.

After an hour and a half, the inconsolable woman was removed from the streets of the Tsim Sha Tsui district by paramedics on a stretcher. The medical team was also forced to restrain the woman, according to reports from The Daily Mail.
