Samsung is looking to get as many users to try their new phones as possible with its latest promotion, CNET reports. The move is geared at current iPhone owners.

Samsung will allow current iPhone owners to try its two newest phablets, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 for 30 days. During the trial, iPhone owners will get a free data plan and any wireless carrier will be compatible with the offer.

There will be a $1 charge to take part in the trial, and the iPhone owner will stay with their current wireless company while they try out the Samsung phone of their choice. No obligations will be required during this trial.

Samsung wants to get users excited about their new phones in a period of time when consumers are becoming unimpressed with smartphones. With an increase in iPhone sales and lower priced smartphones from their competitors, Samsung is seeing sales numbers decrease for its smartphones.

The Galaxy S6 was a highly awaited device, but was unable to keep Samsung from recording its seventh straight quarter of profit declines.

Samsung is not sure how many iPhone users will give their latest phones a try, but they hope for success out of this program. T-Mobile tried out a similar program in the past that allowed customers to try out the iPhone 5S for a week.

T-Mobile's program helped customers gain knowledge of the company's product offerings and allowed them to try out the carrier's network.

Samsung's 30-day trial program is only available to iPhone users. In order to participate in the trial, users will have to use their iPhone's browser to sign up for it. To participate in the program, customers can go to this link.

Customers will receive the smartphone that they choose from Samsung in a box, which also includes a cable that helps them transfer their pictures, apps and music from their iPhone to the Samsung device.
