WWE's NXT developmental system will make history when its "NXT: TakeOver" special takes place in its largest setting yet in Brooklyn, New York.

From the Barclays Center, "NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn" will host approximately 13,000 spectators for 10 confirmed matches, six of which will air live on the WWE Network starting at 9 p.m. EDT. It is also the first "NXT TakeOver" special to broadcast away from Florida's Full Sail University campus.

Apollo Crews vs. Tye Dillinger:

It is the on-screen wrestling debut of Apollo Crews, formally known as Uhaa Nation. His first match will be against the "Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger, who recently resurfaced on "NXT's" Wednesday programming with the "10" gimmick. There has been no storyline between Crews and Dillinger, so it is unknown if this will be a one-off match or the start of a new feud.

Prediction:

It's Crews' debut, and it takes place during a historic NXT special. Since it is his debut, he will most likely get the win against Dillinger. One disappointing aspect of this match is the decision to use Dillinger against Crews. Dillinger, for months, has been improving his "Perfect 10" gimmick during non-televised NXT live shows, and he just made his re-debut nearly two weeks ago. It's disappointing to potentially undermine the start of his new gimmick, put to waste at the hands of Crews. This could all change on how WWE creative books the match.

Baron Corbin vs. Samoa Joe:

It's a new feud featuring two NXT superstars who have definitely shown their power in the ring. For Baron Corbin, it is probably his biggest match yet, not only due to the "TakeOver" setting, but given Samoa Joe's wrestling history in the independent circuit and on TNA Wrestling. Corbin is definitely the "greener" of the two competitors.

Prediction:

Unless a disqualification or count-out occurs, Corbin will need the victory since he is the fresher face in the wrestling scene and no doubt the individual the WWE wants to develop. No matter what, Joe will have the full support of the New York crowd -- largely considered among the "smart" cities and crowds within the wrestling scene.

Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs. Tyler Breeze:

The legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger makes his WWE debut on Saturday night. It is likely a one-off deal for Liger, but for Tyler Breeze, it will be the match that will make or break him. Breeze has been making a name for himself while in the WWE developmental system, and he has been there for several years. While he has attracted a following, there is no doubt Breeze wants to make it to the next level: the main WWE roster. His match with Liger will be the latest litmus test for the superstar formerly known as Mike Dalton. Breeze, as previously mentioned, is competing in NXT's biggest show yet and will perform against Thunder, a revolutionary figure in international wrestling with decades of experience.

Prediction:

It is surprising that it's unclear who will win this match. Given that is Liger's first, and possibly only, WWE match, he could get the win. Breeze, however, remains WWE talent and given NXT's nature, the WWE is building its talent. Unless the two provide a stellar match that makes even the loser look good, Breeze should get the victory.

NXT Tag Team Championship: Blake and Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch):

Quite a unique match up since The Vaudevillians have mainly performed in line with their namesake: villains. But since the Vaudevillains started the feud against Blake and Murphy, the NXT fans have supported Aiden English and Simon Gotch. An important element of the feud is Alex Bliss, who has gotten physical against The Vaudevillains. English and Gotch have hinted they have a solution to control Bliss, perhaps the inclusion of a diva or literally putting Bliss in a cage.

Prediction:

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy deserve another tag team title opportunity, especially since "NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn" is set in their home territory - Amore is from neighboring state New Jersey and Cassidy from neighboring borough Queens. If Amore and Cassidy were in the match, this would be the event to give them the NXT Tag Team Championship. Instead, we have The Vaudevillains, which does have its positives. The Vaudevillains' inclusion in the NXT Tag Team Championship picture provided a better spotlight on English and Gotch and improved crowd engagement. In the end, however, Blake and Murphy are likely to retain the titles.

NXT Women's Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley:

The first of the co-main events. NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks is currently doing a balancing act. She has been elevated to the main roster yet continued her NXT storyline. Bayley, meanwhile, has been building momentum since returning from a hand injury, defeating Emma, Charlotte, and then Becky Lynch. Banks has remained confident she will defeat Bayley, largely stating the latter is not real competition unlike Charlotte and Lynch.

Prediction:

After more than 190 days, NXT might have a new Women's Champion. With Banks moving to the main roster, it is time for Bayley to continue the NXT women's division with new or resurfacing names entering development, such as Dana Brooke, Eva Marie, Peyton Royce (formerly KC Cassidy) and maybe even Blue Pants. Bayley, however, deserves to be on the main roster as well, but "TakeOver: Brooklyn" will be the start of her first championship reign.

NXT Championship: Ladder Match: Finn Balor (c) vs. Kevin Owens:

It's the rematch from WWE's "The Beast in the East" July Fourth special from Japan. Balor made his homecoming to his second home, Japan, during the special and won the NXT Championship from Kevin Owens. Balor has done moderately well as NXT Champion, but has not really accomplished much. Owens, similar to Banks, has been on the main roster and juggled both main roster and NXT storylines. His presence in NXT is perhaps needed more, since he perfects the role of the top heel. Balor has been good as the popular face, but he needs a figure such as Owens to continue look like a strong champion.

Prediction:

Balor could use the victory to further build himself as not only the top NXT face on the roster but cement himself as NXT Champion. Owens could use the victory because he is a dominant figure on the developmental roster, and without him there will be a noticeable gap. The match will be a ladder match, which could play an important factor in not making the loser appear too weak. The final prediction is a victory for Balor.

What Else to Know:

Four matches will take place in Brooklyn, but they will take place approximately 90 minutes before the 9 p.m. show. The matches will reportedly air Aug. 26, but anything can still change by the time Saturday night arrives.

The four matches are:

Eight-Man Tag-Team Match: Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley vs. Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

Fatal Four-Way Match: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke vs. Emma

Bull Dempsey vs. Elias Samson

Carmella vs. Eva Marie

How to Watch:
