Lisa Bonet has refrained from discussing the mounting sexual allegations against TV father Bill Cosby even with her own daughter.

Zoë Kravitz, Bonet's actress daughter with ex-rocker husband Lenny Kravitz, recently told The Guardian her mom has avoided discussing the subject with her. Bonet played the 78-year-old legendary comedian's rebellious daughter Denise Huxtable on the classic hit series "The Cosby Show."

"She'd plead the fifth, even to me," said the 26-year-old Bonet, when asked about her mom's reaction to all the accusations against Cosby. "I think she's just staying out of it."

Still, Kravitz hinted that her mom has been just as disgusted by Cosby's alleged behavior, which is now resulting in a trail, after nearly 50 women publicly accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting them over the years.

"She's just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is," she said. "But I don't think she has any insight. It's news to her as well."

Kravitz added she understands all the skepticism some have expressed over her mother's purported ignorance to it all.

"Of course. She was on the show for a long time. She's also a beautiful woman. It makes people wonder," she said.

Kravitz later described her mom as a very "straightforward person," one whom she believes would step forward if she knew something about another woman being abused.

In all, the 47-year-old Bonet starred on the series for several years, before leaving in 1987 to star in the spin off "A Different World." She left that show a year later, after becoming pregnant with her daughter, and she and Lenny split for good in 1993.

Bonet rejoined the cast of "The Cosby Show" two years after leaving, but her return was short-lived, as she was terminated before the show's final season due to "creative differences."

At the time, it was reported that Bonet and Cosby's differences centered on his concerns about the direction of her personal and professional life. She has never publicly spoken about all the allegations he now faces.

Recently, her "Cosby Show" spouse Joseph C. Phillips proved the exception, writing in a blog post last month that he believes Cosby is guilty.
