Wiz later posted a video on his Instagram page from the incident that shows him being surrounded by officers with the caption, "All because I wouldn't ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months."

A picture also posted to Twitter is captioned, "They love saying stop resisting."

According to the Washington Post, the rapper was returning to the U.S. after performing in Finland, when he was confronted on his scooter that travels at a maximum speed of 12 miles per hour.

As officers rushed the rapper and handcuffed him, with at least four of them holding him down, Khalifa can be overheard in the video repeatedly responding "I'm not resisting, sir," to officers' orders of "get on the ground" and "stop resisting."

The "Black and Yellow" rapper later tweeted, "Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun."

Later, U.S. Customs and Border Production (CBP) officials released a statement that read, "U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) strives to treat all travelers with respect and in a professional manner, while maintaining the focus of our mission to protect all citizens and visitors in the United States."

Reports are Khalifa was riding the same PhunkeeDuck scooter that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill scurry around on in their "All Eyes on You" video. Justin Bieber has also shown himself to be a fan of them.

According to CNN, the boards are quickly becoming popular, despite only being on the market for a short time, with Lexus being one of the companies that produces them.
