Following the success of "The Lego Movie", "The Simpsons" is gearing up to go brick by brick for its Season 25's Lego special episode. TVGuide reports the upcoming 550th episode, titled "Brick Like Me", will air on May 4, Sunday at 8/7c on Fox. The special and other previous episodes of TV's favorite animated family can also be watched online at TVFanatic and on Fox.

In the Lego episode, Homer wakes up in a world where everything and everyone in Springfield, including his family, are made up of Lego bricks. He faces the challenge of "putting together" the events that led him to the bizarre world. If he fails to do so, he'll be forever stuck in Lego land.

A few weeks ago before news of the show's toy-themed episode surfaced, Lego announced that it will be releasing a "Simpsons" Lego playset. At $199.99, the set includes the iconic "Simpsons" house complete with rooms and a garage, the pink family car with a dent on the left side of the hood (car can fit four Simpsons Lego figures inside), and six Lego figures: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and the loveable neighbor, Ned Flanders.

Season 25 of "The Simpsons" aired last September 29. Less than a month later, E! Online reported that the animated series has been renewed for a historic 26th season.

Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly said, "For more than a quarter of a century, 'The Simpsons' has captured the hearts and minds of fans in a way that transcends ages, languages, and cultures. This groundbreaking series is not only the longest-running scripted show in television history, it's one of the greatest sitcoms of our time. And I'm looking forward to yet another landmark season.

Currently on hiatus, the 25th season will return on March 9, Sunday, with back-to-back episodes on Fox.
