Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello Burst Into Tears Visiting Michael Jackson's Childhood Home
Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello recently revealed that, during a day off from the group's "Reflection" tour, she got to visit the home of the late Michael Jackson.
According to Billboard, Cabello, who shared news of the tour of the home in which Michael Jackson grew up to her 2 million Twitter followers, revealed that it was a very emotional experience for her because she could relate to the singer's upbringing.
"Made me think of so many talented kids in small towns that don't think they have a real shot at their dreams because of the circumstances," said Cabello. "I know because I came from a completely different country and I thought I didn't have a shot -- no money, no connections, no hope, nothing."
The singer, who was born in Cuba and moved to the U.S. with her family before getting her big break on the "The X Factor," went on to express words of support and inspiration to her fans.
"Whether you come from Havana, Cuba, or Miami, or Texas, or LA, or Gary, Indiana, you can be who you want to be if you work hard enough," she continued.
Ally Brooke Hernandez also took to Twitter to share her feelings about the tour of the house.
"Today we had the honor of visiting the home that he grew up in," said Hernandez. "It was one of the most surreal, chilling, and beautiful experiences. Also so incredibly peaceful. Kind of like time stood still."
Fifth Harmony was one of the group's that took the stage on Aug. 22 to perform for the 6th annual "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" Charity Event, which has been hosted by Jackson's mother Katherine since the legendary singer's death, and helps children in need, reported the Inquisitr.
Fifth Harmony is currently on tour with special guest Natalie La Rose.
