The latest name to surface from the identities of more than 37 million cheaters in last month's Ashley Madison website hack is the husband of "Real Housewives of New York" star Kristen Taekman, reports E! News.

Josh Taekman, like other Ashley Madison website users, had the account for the purpose of cheating on his spouse. A source told E! News that the revelation could mean the end of the reality TV couple's marriage.

Josh publicly apologized, once reports surfaced that he had registered for an account on the site that is used for extramarital affairs.

"I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends, and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family," Josh said in a statement given to E! Online. "We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."

It remains to be seen if Kristen, who has not yet publicly commented on the scandal, can or will "move past this" betrayal.

"Kristen is embarrassed by this entire situation," an insider close to the couple told E! News. "They have had their problems in the past but worked hard on them. This could be the final straw and the end of their marriage."

Fans of the "Real Housewives of New York" know that the couple has shared marital problems on the TV reality show in the past.

When Kristen debuted on the show, fans saw arguments between the duo that were so disturbing, many viewers complained on social media. As a result, Bravo decided not to feature Josh on camera for the reality TV series.

The couple is currently in Los Angeles promoting EBOOST, a natural energy powder that provides a "pre-workout boost and energy on the go." The EBOOST company was founded in 2007 by Josh and John McDonald.

Kristen and Josh married in November 2004. They have a son, Cassius, and a daughter, Kingsley.

The Taekmans are not the only celebrity couple tied to the leak of user information from the Ashley Madison website. Former "19 Kids and Counting" star and married father of four, Josh Duggar, apologized earlier this month for having two accounts on the cheating website.
