If you've got a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ already, or perhaps a Galaxy Note 5 on the way, you might be looking for ways to protect your new, super (expensive) phablet. If so, Speck has you covered -- literally.

The smartphone case maker, known for making popular protective covers for the iPhone and other premium devices, just announced a new lineup of slim cases for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, of course, presents a unique challenge to smartphone cases, with its up-sized screen that cascades, curving down on both sides to meet the back of the phone.

Now Speck says it's conquered that challenge, coming up with a solution in cases cases that "are designed for a precision-engineered fit along the perimeter of the phone that won't hinder use," as the company's release put it.

For the Galaxy Note 5, on the other hand, the cases come with a raised bezel that wraps around the screen, preventing scratches when you put the phone down on its face.

The line of cases are launching on Aug. 25, just four days after the U.S. release date of the dueling Samsung phablets, and they come in three design categories.

CandyShell for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5

This is the Samsung phablet update to Speck's self-described most popular "military-grade protective" shell, which comes with a dual-layer design mixing a hard outer shell with a soft interior rubber glove for the device.

CandyShell Grip (for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5)

This design comes with raised rubber ridges for a no-slip grip, along with a layer of protection for the device.

CandyShell Inked (for both)

A variation on the "Grip" shell, these include various different visual designs and patterns for a bit of extra flair.

Besides Speck's website, you'll probably see these cases in stores where the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 are sold. The retail price for the first two models is around $40, but in case (pardon the pun) you want the extra "Inked" touch, you'll have to shell (last one, I swear) out about $5 more.
