Battlefield 4 gamers will be experiencing yet another new dimension of the game starting on Tuesday when "Second Assault" is released for Premium members.

The new update will be a blast from the past as gamers will be able to enjoy some of the most popular maps in the history of the Battlefield series.

"Battlefield 4 Second Assault features four of the most fan-favorite maps from Battlefield 3: Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm -- reimagined with Frostbite 3 graphics and Battlefield 4 gameplay." Battlefield.com says.

The website also says that other aspects of the current game's predecessors will be improved and phased into the update.

"With five weapons re-mastered for Battlefield 4, the return of the Dune Buggy vehicle, ten new assignments, and the Capture the Flag game mode, Second Assault combines familiar grounds with all-new features.

"Caspian Border is a true Battlefield 4 classic, and in Second Assault the map has been redesigned with Frostbite 3 graphics, Levolution moments, and a breath-taking autumn setting," the website also says about the update.

As for Battlefield 4's main counterpart, Call of Duty: Ghosts, gamers also have something to be excited about -- especially if you have not yet had a chance to pick up the game. Call of Duty: Ghosts is finally getting the price cut that gamers were looking for and now you can have a chance to purchase the game for only $39.99. However, there is a catch: Amazon reportedly only offered the discount to select, "valued" customers, which is said to refer to people who pre-ordered the Xbox One.
