Samsung's next smartwatch has been teased multiple times. Now, potential buyers are getting their best look at the upcoming Gear S2 watch via Instagram photos.

The Samsung Gear S2 looks great. It is a round smartwatch that looks just as classy as a high-priced fashion watch.

The latest Instagram photo, posted by Samsung executive Dennis Miloseski, gives an extreme closeup of the Gear S2, The Verge reports. Around the display, a metal frame is apparent. On the side of the device, a couple of buttons can be spotted which will probably help users interact with the operating system.

Instead of using the Android Wear operating system, the Gear S2 is expected to use Samsung's own Tizen operating system. This version of Tizen looks cleaner and more refined than previous versions of it, and it looks even more like inspired by the Apple Watch than ever before, Digital Spy reports.

An optional heart rate monitor can be installed into the rear casing of the watch. This is an option that fitness enthusiasts and athletes might spring for.

Users will be able to talk to the Gear S2 without having pull their phones out of their pockets. This means having conversations with the watch instead of the phone. Samsung's S Voice assistant is Samsung's answer to Apple's Siri and users will be able to ask the watch to perform tasks for them.

The bezel on the Gear S2 can be rotated to control certain functions on the watch.

Earlier this month, Samsung posted a video that hinted at the features of the Gear S2. The video makes references to making calls on the device, health features, weather and much more.

Besides appearing in fashion photo shoots, the Gear S2 has not been on prominent display and not much is known about it. It is expected to be officially unveiled at the IFA 2015 event in Berlin on Sept. 3., Android Authority reports.
