After showing off her sparklingly massive engagement ring during the 3 Days To Kill premiere in LA, Amber Heard removed her diamond for her Live with Kelly and Michael interview.

Johnny Depp's girlfriend looks elegant and chic in a Burberry skirt, yellow jumper and Jimmy Choo pumps, reports the Daily Mail. The 27-year-old not only took off her ring but was also not asked any questions regarding her fiancé Depp.

The lack of a ring and silence regarding the actress' significant other has fueled speculations that the couple is on rocky waters. A spokesperson for the couple has not responded to requests for a comment but Daily Mail has reported that insiders say the ring is not an engagement ring but simply a promise ring.

Just Jared reported previously that, 'The ring is a promise ring Johnny gave Amber as a gift over the holidays.' The actress was spotted at West Hollywood's Ago Restaurant on Tuesday night and wore the beautiful large single emerald or princess cut stone ring in an elaborate platinum setting. The star attempted to cover the ring which seems fairly new as it still needs to be resized being a bit big on the petite lady's finger.

Following the appearance in the morning, she also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman for an interview and pulled out an all black ensemble looking extremely fierce.

In Heard's latest film 3 Days to Kill, she plays a sexy FBI agent who has no qualms about killing; Amber tells E! News that she getting to shoot people in the movies is "a perk of the job."

Depp and Heard met on the set of 2011's The Rum Diary and have since hit it off. The very private couple began dating in 2012 and have made few public appearances together. A source says they are very close and "have been very involved in each other's lives for some time now, introducing each other to their family and friends. Amber has introduced Johnny to her friends and vice versa."

Hopefully Amber wanted to focus on the movie rather than address engagement rumors. Either way, fans can only wait and see what develops in the coming days.
