HTC One 2 Release Date, Features & Specs: Latest Leak Hints Improved Cam; Phone to Drop This March
A whole new set of information are revealed about the next talked about flagship phone of HTC which is the HTC One 2. One of the latest leaks hints that the Taiwanese tech firm will unveil a 5MP main camera for the second gen version of HTC One.
However, this latest leak is a major contradiction to other rumors revolving around it which stated it would still have the same 4MP ultrapixel sensor that was also featured on the HTC One, Tech Radar wrote. Other rumors that first came out also said that the next HTC One which is also dubbed as HTC M8 will not go with the fingerprint scan feature but will feature a HD Display at 4.7 inches.
Other HTC One 2 rumors spreading over Twitter from a forum moderator of XDA Developers. The tipster named as Shen Ye once mentioned that the HTC One 2 will be released in five colors of gold, blue, red, dark grey and silver. The moderator also added that the HTC smart phone will have a microSD slot plus the nanoSIM support.
HTC One 2 Release Date Rumors
With March coming around the bend soon, it seems that the HTC One 2 release date would have to skip the first set of rumors that it will be launched during the Mobile World Congress. Popular leak tipster @evleaks said that the giant Taiwan tech will have the HTC One 2 launch instead by next month in New York. This could be a strategy for the company to avoid stiff rivalry from other lead competitors at the MWC 2014 event, IBT wrote.
For the meantime, the HTC One 2 is rumored to have features that just trigger more excitement for its fans. Some of the killer features expected include its metal case, a larger screen display, a dual sensor ultrapixel camera, the Android Kitkat OS, and the Sense 6.0 UI.
