The drama between Joe Bailey and Samantha Steffen dominated "Bachelor in Paradise" Episode 8 that aired on Monday.

In case you missed Monday's episode, Bailey pined after Steffen despite the fact she dumped him on his birthday. He switched between failed attempts to win her back and threatening to expose her text messages about their grand scheme.

"She's got two options: Either we can go on with it and she can be lovey dovey on me and we can get engaged and make a nice happy love story, or she can crash and burn," Bailey said in an on-show interview.

Meanwhile, Justin Reich from Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette" arrived. He showed immediate interest in Steffen, which upset Bailey. Bailey told Justin that he was interested in Steffen and didn't want him to ask her out. Justin ignored Bailey completely, asked out Steffen and she said yes -- cue the drama.

An unlikely friendship formed between Ashley Iaconetti and Bailey this week during a self-pity party; Iaconetti got dumped by Jared Haibon.

In addition to the escalating Steffen and Bailey drama, "Bachelor in Paradise" Episode 9 airing on Sunday will show more of Reich, Nick Peterson and Chris Bukowski who were brought to Mexico, and more dates.

Reality Steve reports that in the upcoming episode, Reich takes Amber James on a date, and when the dates are done, it will be the ladies who hand out roses.

Iaconetti will give her rose to Haibon.

Ashley Salter, who is infatuated with Peterson, gives her rose to him while Juelia Kinney chooses Mikey Tenerelli to receive hers.

Reich receives a rose from James.

Steffen is the last woman to dispense a rose, and she gives it to Dan Cox.

Bailey must say farewell to paradise as he and Chris Harrison are sent home.

Tanner Tolbert, Kirk Dewindt and Joshua Albers will remain safe.
