Fans of "Extant" were pleased to see what unfolded last night on the hit CBS sci-fi drama "Extant." It came with revelations and long awaited sequences that also included death, according to Entertainment Weekly.

As it turns out, that dream sequence during Molly's (Halle Berry) viral infection in the previous episode of "Extant" did not signify the end for her but rather a new beginning. She awoke from her coma still in the old body. She shed her skin and hair and crawled out of the shell that was her former self and into her new one.

She was greeted by Ethan and JD in what appeared to be a most welcoming moment for the trio as they came to let her out of the room.

But time is not on their side as they must race to escape the facility. Terra is still locked behind the vault, and Molly's own power allows her to see into it and what she is about to do, which is basically a suicide mission.

Molly talks her down, and eventually, Toby shows them the way out through an evacuation tunnel.

Meanwhile, in Julie's struggle to find Ethan, she comes upon the rebooted Lucy and hides from her. Lucy's reboot seems to still maintain the same ominous attitude that forces her to break Nate Malone's neck when he refuses to let her through.

Toby's own character flaws seems to be working themselves out when he is found by Lucy, who uncuffs him, and he instructs her to continue her search somewhere other than the evacuation tunnel. This of course signifies that he wants to protect Molly, JD and Ethan.

But the change of heart proves to be futile now. Lucy denies his request and says that she is taking orders from a higher authority.

Madam Secretary Fiona Stanton is disturbingly fine with the killing of Malone, and she seems more interested in the final result than the body count. After the bomb goes off, Toby tells her that it killed Molly, but she wants proof.

Molly and company safely made it out of the facility before the explosion, which killed many people, and hid out in a bunker that conceals their presence. Julie also made it out alive, informing Toby about Lucy.

Toby seems to be taking on a new role as the good guy. He meets up with Molly and briefs her on the developments. She later surprises Julie at her home. Toby is later arrested for his actions.
