The WWE released one of its developmental divas after Nazi-related artwork was posted on Instagram.

Zahra Schreiber, who was signed to train and compete in the WWE's NXT developmental system, was fired after the company discovered images with the Nazi emblem on her social media account. The images include a "My Little Pony" with an Adolf Hitler moustache and Nazi armband, and another image that appears to include the Nazi sign on a wall.

According to TMZ, "The WWE got wind of it, and swiftly fired her, 'due to inappropriate and offensive remarks.'"

Schreiber, who reportedly made the posts as early as 2012, defended the images, stating her appreciation of overall history.

"I like history ha," Schreiber wrote, adding, "The swastika means prosperity and luck. It was around way before Hitler turned it into an icon."

Last weekend, WWE fans stormed social media to raise awareness of her posts.

Schreiber's Twitter and Instagram accounts have recently been switched to private.

Schreiber is said to be the girlfriend of one of the WWE's top names, Seth Rollins, currently the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and United States Champion. She was recently seen sitting next to him on Aug. 22 during the "NXT TakeOver: Brookyln" special.

Schreiber's relationship with Rollins has been a talking point within the WWE fan base. Earlier this year, a nude photo of Schreiber was accidentally posted from Rollin's Twitter account, which was automatically republished on WWE's main website. Later that day, nude images of Rollins were circulated on Twitter by his then-girlfriend Leighla Schultz. Rollins has since apologized for the events.

Schreiber's release comes as she was seen with NXT's Solomon Crowe, acting as his valet during an NXT tour. She has never formally debuted on television or the WWE Network.
