BRIT Awards 2014 Winners: Top 5 Most Shocking & Unforgettable Moments
The best artists from the music industry were honored during the 34th annual BRIT Awards on February 19. As always, it has been filled with numerous moments that can be considered as shocking yet unforgettable.
One Direction and the Arctic Monkeys may have been the biggest winners during the 2014 BRIT Awards held in London, but there were a lot more that happened worth recalling. Here we feature top five of those moments:
1. Beyonce does it big again! The Queen Bey rocked the entire stage with her live performance of her brand new song called XO. It was a stripped down performance but her presence on the stage remained hypnotic as usual.
2. Newcome Lorde did not fail to impress once again, just like how she did during the recent Grammys. She sang her hit Royals with Disclosure and got honored with the International Female Solo Artist trophy. The New Zealand singer totally impressed everyone especially upon learning that she and Disclosure did not even practice together until they met on the actual day of the awards show.
3. The spontaneous One Direction interview was so tensed yet hilarious. When the 1D boys were spontaneously asked about their comment on the recent issues that Justin Bieber has been involved in, it was only Louis Tomlinson who sent out a message which said, "Keep strong..."
4. Bruno Mars' performance of his song Treasure was flawless especially with a superb set of backup dancers. After his impressive halftime show, he continues to be an artist on fire as he also received his International Male Solo Artist award.
5. Katy Perry completes this list as she delivered an Egyptian themed set as she sang Dark Horse. All the effects of neon laser lights plus her neon bodysuit contributed to an entirely perfect flashy presentation.
