In an interview with Access Hollywood, singer Ciara accidentally said something about his future with Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson. A reporter in the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet asked Ciara if she could come to her wedding with Wilson, and the singer obliged. The "I Bet" singer tried to cover her slip up but can't just help but laugh at it.

Wilson and Ciara started dating in April 2015, as per E! Online. Their sources said that Ciara thinks that the Seahawks quarterback is a complete gentleman and has enjoyed hanging out with him, saying that "it's been constant laughter and fun."

Music Times reports that the couple has applied for a marriage license. In an interview with "CBS This Morning," Ciara and her son from rapper Future loves to spend their time in Washington where the 26-year-old quarterback lives. The couple are building a strong bond by not having sex until their married.

The singer was previously engaged with Atlanta-based rapper Future in October 2013. Their relationship produced a son named Future Zahir Wilburn, who is said to be close with Wilson. Bossip reports that Russell Wilson both want a Super Bowl and engagement ring, fuelling further rumors about the status of the couple.

Ciara's ex has been very vocal in his disregard of the fact that his son is close with Wilson. On the other hand, Wilson's ex-wife Ashton Meem maybe is flirting with Future. Meem started "liking" several Instagram posts of the rapper, as reported by MStars News.

Wilson married Meem in January 2012 but eventually divorced in April 2014. In the same report by MStars, Meem was rumored to have cheated with Wilson's ex-teammate, Golden Tate. Now with the Detroit Lions, Tate has denied the rumors, saying in a report by New York Post, "I did not have an affair with Russell Wilson's wife, nor did I have anything to do with his divorce. That is laughable for anyone who knows us."

"His ex-wife, Ashton, is still best friends with my girlfriend. Russell and I were good friends when I was in Seattle, on and off the field. He knows the rumors about me were unfounded, damaging to my reputation, and an attack on my character. Anyone who circulated that rumor was just plain irresponsible," he adds.

As for Russell Wilson, he is happy with his relationship with Ciara and her son. He's also looking for a third straight Super Bowl appearance after signing a new four-year, $87.6-million contract this past season, as reported by ESPN.
