Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's six-year marriage is rumored to be in grave danger, with much of the tension stemming from all the pressure the NFL star quarterback is feeling from the "Deflategate" scandal.

Us Weekly reports the world's highest paid model and arguably the NFL's biggest star have been at odds ever since NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell slapped Brady with a four-game suspension to start the upcoming season.

"Tom's become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her," said a source.

Reportedly, the arguments have become so constant and intense Bundchen recently consulted with a divorce attorney.

"Tom thinks it's only a threat," a source said. "But this is definitely a rough patch."

The parents of two young children, Brady and Bundchen are reported to still be residing together and making it a point to "spend time together one-on-one."

Bundchen also recently accompanied him to New York for an Aug. 31 Deflategate hearing with top NFL officials.

"Things are very tense right now," said a source. "This could be the end of them."

The 38-year-old Brady and Bundchen, three years his junior, are rumored to collectively be worth hundreds of millions with the couple earning somewhere in the neighborhood of $78 million in 2014 alone.

Besides 5-year-old Benjamin and 2-year-old Vivian, Brady also has an 8-year-old son with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.

In all, Brady has played 13 NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and won four Super Bowls. His best season came in 2011 when he passed for 5,311 yards and 39 touchdowns. Overall, Brady has seven seasons of at least 4,000 yards passing, including the last four when he has averaged nearly 4,500 passing yards and 30 touchdowns
