In the first episode of ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 2, Carly Waddell gushed about coupling with Kirk DeWindt.

"I feel like I came in here knowing that I wanted to find my husband, and I can't believe I found him day one," she said. "I just consider myself the luckiest freaking person on this planet."

The pairing seemed perfect. The couple enjoyed the season's first fantasy suite date in week three.

In Episode 3, Waddell took DeWindt on a date to watch fireworks. They ended up staying together overnight and having sex.

Waddell's luck runs out during the "Bachelor in Paradise" two-part finale, which airs Sept. 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. ET, according to a source close to showrunners.

"Carly said she thought she'd found her soul mate and was talking about having babies with him," the insider told Us Weekly. "But Kirk totally blindsided her and said he was far from being on the same page."

When she learns how DeWindt truly feels in the finale, the insider said a stunned Waddell "ran away mid-conversation in tears. She said she just wanted to go home."

The split shocked friends who thought Waddell and DeWindt were both serious about the relationship. They had dated for five weeks.

"It was so dramatic and real," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly. "Carly was totally shocked when Kirk broke up with her. She's still very upset."

Meanwhile, actress Mila Kunis, who apparently watches "Bachelor in Paradise," knows that contestant Ashley Iaconetti has a huge crush on cast member Jared Haibon, who resembles her husband, Ashton Kutcher.

Kunis took a picture of her husband posing next to a television screenshot of Haibon. She made Kutcher tweet the picture to Iaconetti on Monday. Judging by Kutcher's caption, he was a bit confused.

"I'm trying to figure out why mila is making me take this picture," Kutcher wrote. "@ashleyiaco who are you? And who is this guy?"

Iaconetti tweeted a reply to Kutcher on Tuesday: "Omg just seeing this...Hi Ashton, I'm Ashley! Thanks for the side by side comparison, Mila. @joejonas, your turn!"

"Bachelor in Paradise" airs Sundays and Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
