Fifth Harmony may be enjoying current success, but that doesn't mean the group members haven't thought about pursuing solo careers in the near future.

According to Fuse TV, in a recent interview, the group members -- all of whom originally auditioned as solo acts for "The X Factor" before being combined as a group by Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato -- discussed how they feel about possible solo careers in the future.

"I think the cool thing about us is that we let each other have room to do things that we're passionate about," explained Camila Cabello. "Whether it's dancing, whether it's acting, I think it's good because we give each other room to grow as individuals."

This year, several members of the group have been tied to various side projects. Rumors of Dinah Jane Hansen possibly being cast in Disney's upcoming animated film have circulated for several weeks.

The rumors began after Disney announced that their new film "Moana" will present their first Polynesian princess and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was cast in the film, reported NBC News.

Soon after, Hansen, who is of Polynesian and Tongan heritage, was spotted hanging out with Johnson, after he posted a photo from birthday celebrations for his daughter, leading many to think she may be a contender for the role.

Normani Kordei was featured in two dance videos and teased future solo dance projects, and Cabello has been working on music with other artists. So solo work is already in the works for several members.

"At the end of the day, I think it's really important that we have respect for the fact that we are a group and we are in this for one thing, but at the same time we each have our personal interests and we allow ourselves to pursue that," Cabello continued. "And that gives you a certain kind of freedom in a group that is necessary and healthy. So, I think it's good that we give each other that room."

However, this doesn't mean that Fifth Harmony isn't going to continue performing and making music together. The group recently announced a European "Reflection" tour, to begin in October.
