Newlyweds Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were filmed for the first time together since tying the knot in February, the Daily Mail reports.

Following their February wedding, Heard and Depp were not photographed publicly together for over two months. During that time span, there were rumors of marital woes and infidelity in their union.

But on Friday, Sept. 4, Depp and Heard were photographed looking affectionate and smitten with one another, while posing on the red carpet for the Venice Film Festival.

A Daily Mail source claimed that Heard looked "adoringly" at Depp, while Depp held on to Heard "passionately" as they arrived for the "Black Mass" premiere.

"Amber couldn't keep her eyes off Johnny, as she continued to admire his dashing looks and smart attire," said the source.

Us Weekly reports that Depp donned a three-piece navy blue tuxedo by Dior Homme, while Heard sported an all black Stella McCartney gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline.

USA Today adds that, in addition to their fashionable attire, Depp and Heard also stunned the crowd with their impressive jewelry. Heard accessorized with a stack of golden bangles, a Bulgari clutch, and her impressive wedding ring.

Despite rumors of a marital split, Heard has previously said that she falls in love with Depp constantly and was overjoyed to marry the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor.

During an interview with Elle back in June, Heard described married life as a natural progression.

"Nothing is a dramatic change. We've been together for a long time now, so it's been a fairly organic process," Heard explained. "I have a fiercely independent spirit."

She added, "I fall in love again and again."

E! News notes that, though Heard disclosed a few details about her marriage to Depp, she was mindful not to share too much, as she wishes to keep her private life under wraps in order to allow fans to focus on her work as an actress.

"The thing that really scares me is the potential of losing my freedom," the "Magic MikeXXL" star revealed. "I never want for my life to lose the ability to transverse the world, with freedom and ease-the freedom and ease I have worked so hard to acquire for myself."
