PlayStation users will have a lot to look forward to in the coming days since Sony recently announced the new titles that will be released on their popular gaming platforms this week.

PlayStation's official blog site reported that PS gamers can access the following full games starting Sept. 8:

  • "Arcade Archives: A-Jax"
  • "Ascendant"
  • "Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse"
  • "Fat City"
  • "Knock Knock"
  • "Leo's Fortune"
  • "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3"

HAMSTER Corporation is at it again with their relaunching of classic arcade games for the PS4. The Japanese video game emulator's latest offering is the aerial shooting game "Arcade Archives: A-Jax" or simply referred to as "A-JAX." In "A-JAX", gamers take on the role of the titular Special Forces group as they maneuver a Tom Tiger helicopter and a Jerry Mouse fighter jet to stop a swarm of alien invaders. "A-JAX" was first released by Konami in 1987.

"Ascendant" is a platformer by start-up video game makers Hapa Games.

"Ascendant is the unforgiving beat 'em up that challenges you with a new world each time you play. It utilizes a number of modern roguelike elements such as permadeath and procedurally generated environments. You are a demigod who invades a plane controlled by your rivals," the Orlando-based studio wrote in their official website.

Revolution Software's "Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse" is an action-adventure crime game, which sees patent lawyer George Stobbart and French journalist Nico Collard uncover the mysteries of a stolen painting.

Players can raid up to 60 targets across the five boroughs of New York City to cash in on big bucks in "Fat City." They have to use their careful puzzle skills though to be successful in the game.

As its name implies, "Knock Knock" is about surviving in a house until dawn. Sounds easy? Well, try that while some paranormal entities try to break in for a visit.

In "Leo's Fortune," gamers play the titular character on a quest to track down the elusive thief who stole his gold. The game is a stylized adventure-based platformer.

"One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" is a re-telling of the popular anime's original plot. It starts out at Fuschia village and will eventually progress to the kingdom of Dressrosa, who otakus might recognize is one of the lairs of Shichibukai captain Donquixote Doflamingo.

Except for "Knock Knock," which is due this Sept. 10, and "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3," which is a PS Vita-exclusive, all aforementioned games will be made available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 users starting Sept. 8.

The full titles will be complemented with the demo-version releases of "FIFA 16," "Hyper Void," and "Tearaway Unfolded."
