Justin Bieber pronounces himself still single and recovering from the broken heart he suffered in his breakup with Selena Gomez.

Appearing on a recent episode of the "Kyle & Jackie O" radio show, Hollywood Life reports Bieber added, "I love being in love and I love cuddling, I love all that stuff. But I got my heart broken, so I'm just trying to let that heal up."

It seems pretty clear what Bieber has been doing with all the down time he's had not being in a relationship. The 21-year-old "Baby" crooner has a huge new hit with the release of his "What Do You Mean" single, which he has already performed to rave reviews at both the MTV Video Music Awards and on the Jimmy Fallon show.

While both Bieber and Gomez were at the VMAs, the two seemed to take added precautions to avoid any awkward encounters, with her spending most of the evening surrounded by Taylor Swift and pals.

Gomez even made certain cameras didn't get to capture her reaction to her ex's emotional performance, taking a bathroom break at just the moment it was all happening.

Over the summer, the two were spotted cavorting poolside together in Beverly Hills, sparking rumors that they might be on the verge of yet another reconciliation. Bieber was reported to have gone shirtless for the occasion, while the 23-year-old Gomez donned what was described as an "oversized T-shirt that could have been Justin's."

More recently, Gomez was reported to be "playing the field," dating both Bieber and actor Orlando Bloom.

"Selena has quietly been seeing both of them," said a source. "She was freaking out when the details came out because she didn't want Justin to know about Orlando, or vice versa. She really thought she was keeping it all a secret, but now everybody knows - including the guys.
