Make no mistake: "Fear the Walking Dead" is turning out to be just as much of a nail-biter as its parent show on AMC. This Sunday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. EDT, the series comes back with an all-new episode titled "The Dog," according to TV Guide.

What has started out as a slow burn on the series has slowly been evolving toward the power of the "The Walking Dead." "Fear" is just about on the threshold of non-stop action and horror for the unorthodox family of survivors.

According to Spoilers Guide, Madison (Kim Dickens) is about to be the first person on the show to really let go of her naïve feelings on the nature of the zombies and finally breach the threshold that equates to "kill or be killed."

The protagonists have just come out of a society that is still relaxed with the good fortunes of civilization. It is a quick jerk in the show, which sets the dramatic thriller apart from most horror movies. It is just like any other situation where a character needs to learn how to defeat his or her enemy. But the real question for Madison is: How far is she willing to go?

The action of the show takes place on two fronts this week, as Travis (Cliff Curtis) fights to keep his son and ex-wife alive by evading the zombie hordes. He seeks refuge with the Salazars, and they fight against all odds just to stay alive, still uncomfortable with the notion of killing the zombies.

According to Deadline, the series is quickly catching up with its parent show. "Fear" scored 11.7 million viewers in week two and shows no sign of slowing down. Although the show skipped a week last week, avid fans of the universe are still highly anticipating what comes next from this prequel-style companion series, which has already been green lit for a season 2.
