‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 News: 3 Promoted to Series Main Cast, Artwork Released
The crowd in Alexandria has officially added the main characters for "The Walking Dead" to their town census. But there are also three in particular living there that have been promoted to series regulars for next season on the show as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
One thing that is for certain is that the town needs people like Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon and Carl Grimes if they ever want to survive in a world they have been naïve to. But those three and their group also need the town to take shelter in.
So it only makes sense that the three main Alexandrians become new cast regulars for Season 6 of the show. Those three are Tovah Feldshuh (Deanna Monroe), Alexandra Breckenridge (Jessie Anderson) and Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe).
The new trio will be added to the main cast for the show next season and the show will pick back up in Alexandria for another season of zombie drama that puts everyone's lives in jeopardy, at every moment.
The show has also released the new artwork for the season, which is just a subtle picture of Rick standing on the horizon of a storm with the letters "TWD" draped across the image.
It says so much with so little, as fans already know that there is a storm coming for the characters and they must fight or weather it out.
There has also been news that Negan may be making an appearance on the show, which spells certain doom for one of the main characters that has been with the show since the inception. But that news has not been officially confirmed yet.
Fans of the show can brace for an extended season 6 premiere episode that air on AMC on Oct. 11 and make its usual half-season run then pick back up next spring.
