'The Big Bang Theory' Star Kaley Cuoco Reveals Biggest Blessing in Her Life -- Her Six Horses
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting recently opened up about her personal life and what she's thankful for in life during an interview with Shape magazine. "The Big Bang Theory" star especially expressed her gratitude for having her four-legged family - her six horses.
In her cover interview for the October issue of Shape magazine (via Mirror UK), Kaley said she considers her six horses as huge blessings in her life. The 29-year-old revealed how her horses and horseback-riding have shaped her into becoming a better person.
"I have six horses, and they have been the biggest blessing in my life. Horseback riding is why I'm so centred, especially in this business. I wouldn't have my career without it," she said.
Kaley had previously acknowledged the big role her horses play in her life during an interview with the Los Angeles Magazine in January. The "Wedding Ringer" actress says her horses have been "the best blessing" in her life.
Talking about her animals, which she said are housed in her barn in Simi Valley, Kaley told the publication that "the bond between a person and a horse is like nothing else-it's hard for people to understand unless they have one." The actress further explained that horses are also like dogs, and recalled her own experience when she calls one of her horses named Santos.
"At the stable, when I call Santos's name, he'll start moving around in his stall, whinnying, and is so excited. He's like, 'Mama's here!" she told the magazine.
She also compared horseback-riding to her acting career. She told the Los Angeles Magazine that acting is also hard for her but "riding is such a challenge." She considers riding as the "Zen part" of her week since there's no thinking "outside of that moment," and she also keeps her cell phone away.
Kaley is known to be one of the highest paid TV actresses because of "The Big Bang Theory." She has made a name for herself not just on television but also on movie screens. She has even earned her own star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, so it's understandable for the media to be poking into her life. However, the actress is very particular when it comes to her privacy with her horses.
In the same interview with the Los Angeles Magazine, the actress expressed her frustration at the paparazzi who disrupt her time with her horses.
"The last thing I want is my private time with my horses to be photographed by those imbecile insects who line up outside my barn," she said.
