Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin Feud Still Boiling, Skinnygirl Mogul Refer to Former BFF as 'Hog'
Bethenny Frankel's raging feud with former "Real Housewives of News York" cast mate and former BFF Jill Zarin is still boiling. The Skinnygirl mogul even referred to her rival as "a hog" in a new Andy Cohen interview.
In a clip celebrating the show, in anticipation of its upcoming 100th episode, Radar Online reports Frankel left little doubt that the battle between the two is still simmering.
"I remember there was a turning point," she told Cohen. "I was hosting the 'Today' show. When I got there, the first thing that was told to me by the producers was Jill called her and she lost her mind. 'Why not me? I'm better than her.'"
Frankel added she was later invited to appear on several other entertainment-type shows in Los Angeles, which she claimed also seemed to greatly irritate and befuddle Zarin.
"Listen, I'm not in a girl band," Frankel joked to Cohen.
In season 3, a now-infamous phone call appears to have torn the relationship to sunder, after Zarin berated Frankel for not reaching out to her husband Bobby following a medical procedure.
"It was like, 'Whoa, this is one cunning b*tch," Frankel reflected. "She's waiting to be on camera to come at me with things and make America hate me. It was really clear that she wanted people to hate me."
After Frankel left the show following the end of the third season to star in her own Bravo-aired spin off and to launch her Skinnygirl cocktail brand, Zarin lasted just one more season on RHONY.
"It must be very difficult for her that she can say she's responsible for putting me on the show and people say I'm the most successful Housewife in history and she would've been on the ride with me," Frankel boasted. "You know, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered and that's how it goes."
