As always, the Miss America pageant is not without controversy over the question portion. This year was no different. While Miss Georgia may have been crowned the new winner, her answer may have not been the best of the night.

When Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell was asked whether she thought Tom Brady was guilty of cheating for his part in the "DeflateGate" scandal, the beauty queen responded rather oddly.

"Did he cheat? Um, that's a really good question," said Cantrell. "I'm not sure. I think I'd have to be there to see the ball, and feel it to make sure it was deflated or not deflated. But if there was question there, then yes, I think he cheated. If there were any question to be had, I think that he definitely cheated, and he should've been suspended for that. That's not fair."

According to the Atlantic Journal-Constitution, viewers took to Twitter to not only criticize the question but also Cantrell's answer, which many believed was not deserving of the crown.

Most media outlets, however, have been praising the other contestants for their better thought out and well executed answers.

Miss Tennessee Hannah Robison was asked whether she thought Planned Parenthood funding should be cut off. The contestant gave a very pro-feminst answer and remained in favor of federal funding for Planned Parenthood, reported Bustle.

"I don't think Planned Parenthood funding should be cut off," she said. "The $500 million that gets given to Planned Parenthood every single year goes to female ... care. It goes for scanning for cancers, it goes for mammograms ... and if we don't give that funding to Planned Parenthood, those women will be out of healthcare for reproductive causes."

The fourth runner-up, Miss Alabama Meg McGuffin may have not landed in the top three, but her answer surely did, reported The Washington Post.

When asked by Taya Kyle why she thought Donald Trump is leading Republican candidates by 32 percent of the votes, McGuffin gave a strong response.

"I think Donald Trump is an entertainer," said McGuffin. "And I think he says what's on a lot of people's minds but I think that the Republican party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of president of the United States. And if I were a Republican, I would absolutely be terrified of that. Thank you."

Miss Mississippi Hannah Roberts, who was selected for first runner-up in the competition, gave her two cents about Kim Davis, when asked whether she thought Davis violated the law when she refused the right of marriage to a same sex couple.

"That is her job that she was voted in to doing, and that law is a federal law throughout the rest of the country," Roberts explained.
