Nothing beats the original. The first trilogy of "Uncharted" is still a well-loved favorite, so Sony and Naughty Dog are bringing it to PlayStation 4 in a bid to get players to enjoy it in the new console. The package is called the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" and the latest video clip showcases serious upgrades on the action-adventure shooter game.

The new gameplay demo gives players a glimpse of the first game in the hotly-anticipated collection, "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune." The storyline is as crisp and fun as ever with flashes of witty banter between Drake and Elena, plus an exciting high-speed car chase as they escape the hands of pirate Eddy Raja. The enhanced graphics are sharp and realistic, the action is stimulating, and the backdrop stunning.

It's a compelling look at the remastered trilogy and how it will translate to Sony's newest console. "The Nathan Drake Collection" includes two other single-player games "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception."

New modes will give treasure hunter Nathan Drake's adventures a modern edge. In the official PlayStation blog, it was revealed that these new modes include the Explorer Mode, which is designed for beginners with reduced difficulty. The Speed Run Mode allow users to compare game time with other players while the Brutal Difficulty Mode presents the ultimate challenge for experts who are looking for a greater test on their skills.

The remastered "The Nathan Drake Collection" also features a Photo Mode so players can capture their adventures. Over 65 character skins can be used in any of the games in the trilogy, including Doughnut Drake and other favorites.

A special edition of the iconic game is also available, according to a report from IGN. The limited release includes a 48-page "Art of Uncharted Trilogy" art book, a steelbook case and a sticker sheet.

According to a report from PlayStation Lifestyle, a free demo for "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" will be unveiled on Sept. 29. It will be available on the PlayStation Store.

"Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" is slated to debut on Oct. 9.

Meanwhile, the series' next installment, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," will be released on March 18, 2016. A multiplayer beta is available exclusively for those who buy "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection." This newest "Uncharted" game is a must-try for fans of the adventurer as it is his final game.

In a report from Power Up Gaming, Naughty Dog series writer Josh Scherr said that the developers are doing their best "to close [the saga] off with a fantastic game, while trying to wrap up a lot of loose ends here and there."
