It's being reported that by summer this year, Katy Perry and John Mayer could be tying the knot.

The couple who has been dating for about a year and a half started the engagement rumor mill on Valentine's when the "Prism" singer stepped out wearing a sparkler on her engagement singer, says TVNZ.

According to sources of Grazia magazine, the 29-year-old singer will be walking down the aisle a few months from now and the pair would "love a June wedding."

"They want to get married at the San Ysidro Ranch in Katy's hometown of Santa Barbara," and Katy has reportedly asked her father, pastor Keith Hudson to officiate the union .

Their chosen venue was previously chosen by Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin during their 2003 wedding, and was also the same venue where John F. Kennedy and wife Jackie spent their honeymoon, claims the Mirror UK.

While Katy and John, 36, have yet to confirm the engagement rumors, insiders claim that John has already been referring to Perry as his "wife" for a while now, as well as on set during a joint TV appearance in 2013.

If that's not enough, Katy, who was previously married to comedian Russell Brand, recently caught one of the bouquets of flowers thrown by a couple married during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' performance of Same Love at the Grammy Awards.

Check out the photo below of Katy Perry's Instagram post after catching the bouquet. The photo bore the caption: "congrats to all the #samelove couples tonight. You had me in tears of joy for y'all! Also... Look who caught the bouquet!!! #okuuuurrrr"

Music's IT couple released a duet last September entitled "Who you Love", and the singer was quoted as telling "Extra" during the time of the song's release, "There's a lot more understanding of context and that's very nice. And also you get to share music! The dance parties are much more fun," says People.

Katy's divorce became official in 2012; should the couple get married, this will be a first for John and the second for Katy.
