Several of the women now accusing Bill Cosby of having drugged and sexually assaulted them are slated to take part in an A&E network hour-long special set to air later this week.

According to Variety, "Cosby: The Women Speak" will air this Thursday night. As many as a dozen of the more than 50 women who have accused Cosby are set to be interviewed during the telecast, including model Beverly Johnson, actress Louisa Moritz and publicist Joan Tarshis.

The show is also expected to chronicle the now 78-year-old Cosby's rise to fame and legendary status, before sharply turning attention to his current struggles, stemming from the sexual assault allegations he now faces that date back more than four decades.

"I think a lie always sees the light," Johnson says in a 30-second preview of the show A&E released Monday.

Interest in the allegations against Cosby were awakened anew last year, after comedian Hannibal Buress touched upon them during his stand-up act, prompting more women to speak about the alleged encounters they've had with the "Cosby Show" dad.

Early next month, Cosby faces a deposition hearing in California, to be handled by famed civil rights attorney Gloria Allred. In that case, former Playboy bunny Judy Huth claims Cosby assaulted her more than 40 years ago at the Playboy Mansion, when she was just 15 years old.

Through his attorneys, Cosby has vehemently denied all the allegations, and he has never been criminally charged in any of the instances. Fellow comedian Damon Wayans recently came under fire when he joked some of the women now accusing Cosby are "un-rape-able."

The Cosby special is produced for A&E by Lincoln Square Productions, with Jeanmarie Condon serving as senior executive producer and Jim Hill Senior serving as executive producer for Lincoln Square Productions.

"Cosby: The Women Speak" will air on A&E at 9 p.m. EDT.
