As evidenced in a new video clip, season 3 of the hit Fox comedy show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is poised to bring a whole lot of laughs with Bill Hader joining the cast. The SNL alum has reteamed with Andy Samberg's Jake Peralta to deliver some of the most comedic moments on television, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The newly released clip shows that Hader's character Captain Seth Dozerman is clearly a stickler for certain rules and efficiency. That being said, Peralta also seems to be one of his most compliant underlings in the show.

Dozerman has come in to replace former Chief Holt (Andre Braugher), who has been promoted to a desk job within the NYPD's public relations department. Although Holt obviously had his own quirks, he pales in comparison to Dozerman and his newly presented eccentricities.

Efficiency is quite evidently one of his quirks in the new clip, as he grills Peralta on the system that is necessary to maintain a good flow of business. That and his awkward insistence that everyone remains busy seem to be what defines his character.

He also names things after himself, which seems to reflect a bit of an anal-retentive personality. It becomes quite clear from the small and vague clip that he is not the best fit for the precinct, and that, of course, is obviously what is going to lead him out the door.

Although Hader has been brought in as the new captain, his character has been listed as a guest-starring role. So Dozerman's role in this capacity may not last long, and fans may get Holt back behind the desk soon enough.

Fans of the show can catch up on last season's episodes at the Fox website. The new season will premiere on the network this fall on Sept. 27 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
