Carly decides to give the go signal, thinking that it will save the life of Sonny. His family will stay beside Sonny and will have an agonizing experience while waiting for the result of the operation.

Scott will volunteer to represent Ava in the trial, which will be accepted by the latter. Scott and Ava will also have an unexpected visitor who could play a big role in the trial. From the looks of it, Ava will soon find herself out of prison.

Fans should also expect more clues on the Jake-Jason Morgan big reveal. Jake had some flashbacks in the past episodes following Sonny's shooting. He told Liz about the flashbacks. Liz wanted to tell Jake about his real identity, but she eventually decided not to reveal the truth.
