The freshman run of "Public Morals" has been an exhilarating ride and it is about to get better.

Episode 5 is titled "A Token of Our Appreciation" and will air on TNT next Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

What fans of the show learned last week is that corruption is a two way street in the area of law and justice in the '60s. There is not good guys or bad guys. There are just the politics that classify them as such.

That being said, the west side Irish mob has made more progress in the death investigation than the NYPD and there has been some fallout from getting those questions answered.

After Rusty Patton (Neal McDonough) discovers the bodies of two of his loyal soldiers dead, there will be a new focus to the silent war that is about to explode on the show. Rusty sees nothing in his eyes except for revenge.

Revenge seems to be the running theme in the show as the shady new character of Richie Kane came to town to pay his respects to Mr. O, who's murder still remains unsolved. He has made much more progress with finding out who killed him, but then again, he is not bound by the constraints of the law, according to TV Fanatic.

The fallout from Richie's investigation is starting to take its toll on the stability of the underground crime world that the mobsters live in.

Muldoon will also soon find himself exposed, but not by the law. His wife has already started to see the suspicious angles as to how he is getting his money and how they are living a better life in a bigger and safer apartment. The original premise of the show is starting to come full circle with corruption on both sides of the law.
