Hillary Clinton Interviewed by Jimmy Fallon as Donald Trump [Video]
Hillary Clinton let her hair down and displayed her lighter, more comedic side during her appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Wednesday night.
The 2016 Democratic presidential front-runner participated in a skit where Jimmy Fallon interviewed her while impersonating Donald Trump.
"I haven't seen you since my last wedding," said Fallon to Clinton during the faux interview, to which Clinton quipped, "Well, I'm sure I'll see you at the next one."
In addition to showing viewers her sense of humor, the playful skit also offered Clinton an opportunity to express her campaign messages. For instance, when the late night host asked her about immigration, Clinton responded, saying, "America was built by people who came here. They worked their hearts out for a better life. That's what many Americans are doing day to day. Their dream is to become American citizens."
Clinton went on to highlight some of her achievements as an advocate for women's rights before asking "Trump" to discuss his stance on women's issues. In response, Fallon said, "I know a lot of women, and they all have issues."
At one point in the skit, the former first lady reached for a glass of white wine.
Clinton also joked about her notorious defeat to Barack Obama, who won the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008.
"Do you have any idea what it's like to work so hard for something, to be so close to getting it, then someone pops out of nowhere and tries to take it all away?" she asks.
"Are you talking about Bernie Sanders? I hate to say this but I think he's losing his hair," quipped fake Trump.
Fallon's Trump also offered the former secretary of state some friendly advice, saying, "You sound like a robot," he says, "If you want to win, here's what you go to do first: Yell! I yell all the time."
