Naughty Dog is working overtime to get the ball rolling on the upcoming "Uncharted" titles. The latest updates include good news for players who are waiting for both the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection."

According to Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer in the PlayStation Blog, the release date for the beta of highly anticipated "Uncharted 4" will be available on Dec. 4 to 13. Although the beta will be closed to the general public, those who have purchased a copy of "The Nathan Drake Collection" will be able to access it, as well as players with a PlayStation Plus membership.

"We know you are all looking forward to hearing more about what's new in multiplayer, what's new with gameplay, and what new modes and maps you can expect," Meyer wrote in the release. "We're planning a grand reveal that will answer many of your questions about Uncharted 4 multiplayer before the beta goes live this December."

Meanwhile, fans of the explorer are still reeling from the first look they got of "The Nathan Drake Collection" that dropped recently online. Keeping the excitement high for the special collection, Naughty Dog unveiled a new trailer for the game titled "Life of a Thief".

The trailer captured much of the thrilling action, charming humor and witty dialogue that have become the trademark of the "Uncharted" franchise. Drake and the team are after the "Wish-Fulfilling Jewel," a gem that's supposedly worth "hundreds of millions" according to Drake. Treasure hunting, forgeries, pirates and explosions flash onscreen,

"What could possibly go wrong?" Drake reasoned at the end of the trailer.

Not much could go wrong for the fans as long as they get their hands on one of the hottest releases that's coming up for PlayStation. "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" is a special bundle of the original "Uncharted" trilogy that includes "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception."

Naughty Dog will be continuing to release updates and teasers for the collection, the blog post revealed. Until the October release date, fans will be able to find out the new and upgraded features of the top-notch reboot of the three best-selling games included in the bundle.

"Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" will be released for PlayStation 4 on Oct. 7 in Europe and Oct. 9 in North America. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will drop the following year with a release date on March 18, 2016.
