'Clash of Clans' Update & Trailer: 'Spell Superiority & Clan War Tiebreaker' Patch Notes Revealed
The biggest game on the market has dropped an update. After teasing their fans of the pending upgrades, "Clash of Clans" finally unleashed a selection of new features.
A report from Game Zone said that players will enjoy significant changes in the spells of the game, notably the Lightning Spell. The feature is reworked to become a more formidable weapon that is more accurate, striking closer together to hit the targets. In the fifth and sixth levels of the game, players will enjoy the increased damage of this spell, and level 7 will be able to destroy buildings and troops.
Other spells that have been tweaked are the Poison, Earthquake and Freeze spells, all reworked to become more powerful and durable in battles of the "Clash of Clans."
Another significant update that makes the experience a little bit different for the players is the introduction of a tiebreaker. No longer is it necessary to end a Clan War with a frustrating tie. Now, a system called "Total Destruction" will decide the victor; the clan who has the greater destruction percentage will be declared the winner. Not only is this a way to end each Clan War decisively, but it also provides more incentive for players to go all out with every attack.
Some minor upgrades also offer nice improvements in-game, such as the revamped skin of Wall Level 11. Functionality is upgraded with the additional Attack and Defense tabs in the Clan Tabs of the War Stats to make it easier for the players to see the attacks they can use. The Clan War map also includes the Army Overview button now.
Although labeled a minor update, this new set of features and changes will be appreciated by the "Clash of Clans" audience. It offers advancements that are geared to make the players stronger in the game and the user experience smoother overall.
However, the game update of "Clash of Clans" is not without significant problems, according to Product Reviews. A huge bulk of the audience who updated their games have come forward and complained that the game has suddenly failed to work after they installed the new updates.
According to a report from Gotta Be Mobile, developers Supercell is planning to unveil a major game update during the ClashCon in Helsinki on Oct. 24. The developer event will reveal "game changing new features" during this much-awaited conference reportedly including Clan War Tournaments, Town Hall 11 and a third Hero.
