When "Agent Carter" returns for Season 2, fans can expect to see the return of Dottie Underwood and some romance for the show's heroine, Peggy Carter.

According to Design & Trend, Dottie (Bridget Regan) will be returning to cause more trouble for Peggy (Hayley Atwell) and the SSR.

During Canada's Fan Expo, Atwell explained the Season 1 villain will be returning. But this time, Agent Carter will know the real identity of the Soviet assassin. Dottie, like Black Widow, is a product of the Red Room and is very smart, skilled and determined.

"We haven't seen the last of her," said Atwell. "Peggy has male baddies that she fights, but to have someone who is physically her equal I think that shows some balance for Peggy, like a flip side of the same coin."

Not only will Peggy be taking on plenty of villains in Season 2, but she will also face the challenges of love, now that she has mourned Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), reported Realty Today.

"I think people can move on," explained Atwell, about Peggy finding new love. "It's part of the human nature to, once you have processed something very painful like loss, that there is hope to not replace that person, but to certainly make way for a new opportunity in life that gives you greater contentment and companionship."

So what kind of romance-related drama will Peggy deal with? According to Atwell, there are several possible love interests this season.

Fans are aware that Peggy lives well into her mid-90s and eventually marries, as was seen in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." There is a lot she has yet to experience when it comes to love, including a few "love triangles," explained Atwell, and fans will get to see it all.

"Agent Carter" is scheduled to return to ABC for Season 2 in the winter.
