Although Talia Lavin did not win any money on "Jeopardy!" she will forever be remembered as the contestant that tricked game show host Alex Trebex into saying "Turd Ferguson."

On Wednesday, the former Huffington Post writer managed to prank the show's host by making him utter the words "Turd Ferguson," which is a reference to a "Saturday Night Live" parody on the long running ABC game show, reports Us Weekly. As "SNL" fans may recall, the skit included actor Norm MacDonald in character as Burt Reynolds and Will Ferrell playing Trebek during a game of "Celebrity Jeopardy." One of the most memorable parts from the famous 1990s skit is when Reynolds forces Trebek to say "Turd Ferguson" because "it's a funny name."

The contestant managed to trick Trebek into saying the funny name during the final round when she was asked to name a song under the category of Oscar-nominated songs.

"This song from a 1999 animated film about censorship had a word censored from its Oscar performance," Trebek read aloud.

Trebek then read Lavin's answer: "What is the love ballad of turd ferguson p.s. hi mom?"

Trebek responded to the situation professionally by calmly noting that her response was incorrect. According to Fox 8, the correct answer is the song "Blame Canada," from the film "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut."

Meanwhile, Lavin told the Huffington Post about her hilarious response.

"I love Norm Macdonald, and think giant styrofoam hats are funny," she said. "I'm honored to be trending on [Facebook] with my homeslices Iggy Azalea and Jeb Bush."

"The woman who got Alex Trebek to say turd ferguson is my hero..." tweeted Kyle Gallner.

Lisa Davis tweeted: "I am still recovering from the amazing episode of Jeopardy tonight."

Although she lost $600 for getting the answer wrong, Lavin says that she is still a winner, nonetheless.

"I won the Internet," she shared. "Which is way better than many thousands of dollars."
