Tori Spelling and her family are desperate to find their missing Maltese terrier and are offering a "major" reward for her safe return.

"Pls HELP...Our Family Dog MITZI has gone missing! Spread the word. She disappeared 9/15 from Calabasas, Ca. Has collar on but WRONG info. Needs Medication! No questions asked. Pls return. REWARD," Spelling posted on Instagram, along with a picture of the 6-pound, long-haired, all-white pooch.

Us magazine reports the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star shared the tear-jerking news on social media on Sept. 17, and she and husband Dean McDermott have also posted flyers throughout their Calabasas-area neighborhood.

"Needs medication," the flyer reads, adding, "major reward--- no questions asked."

The last several years have been a time of much grief and heartache for Spelling and her family. A period of financial hardship has forced the family to move at least three times since 2011, each time to a smaller, far more modest residence.

OK! magazine recently reported McDermott has real issues with his wife's spending habits and has been "begging" the daughter of legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling to curb all of her spending.

TMZ previously reported the couple held a major yard sale on Father's Day in June and were seen peddling everything from jewelry to home furnishings. For their last move, the two were also seen loading their own belongings into a rental truck and their own vehicles.

Spelling's last TV project, "Mystery Girls," was canceled after just one season. She is currently the voice of the Pirate Princess in the animated show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."

At the time of his death, Aaron Spelling was estimated to be worth as much as $600 million.
