'Jane the Virgin' Star Gina Rodriguez Splits From Boyfriend Henri Esteve
Gina Rodriguez and her boyfriend of over a year, actor Henri Esteve, have reportedly ended their relationship.
According to People, who first reported news of the couple's split, the "Jane The Virgin" star and the "Revenge" actor are no longer an item. Rodriguez fueled the rumor of their breakup when she attended the 2015 Emmy Awards alone.
"Gina really cared for him. She is a sweet person with a prosperous career, but she has limited time and it was just a mutual split," a source told People. "They are still friends and very realistic about relationships."
Noticeably the actress, who has an Instagram account, hasn't recently shared pictures of Esteve on social media, something she did often throughout their relationship.
The actress famously shared a sweet photo of herself and the actor, declaring her love for him, on their one-year anniversary, according to People StyleWatch. That post has now been conspicuously removed.
"It's you," Rodriguez captioned the photo. "It's always been you. One year down, I pray for a 100 more. Happy anniversary my love."
In March, everything seemed to be going great between the couple. Rodriguez gushed to E! Online that she thought Esteve was very handsome and explained why their relationship works.
"I just know that I have a very strong [and] supportive boyfriend," said the 30-year-old star. "He's an amazing artist himself who respects the craft ... He supports me and I think that's all that matters. We're very honest and there's a lot of communication. He knows that my priority is 'Jane' and him and family."
Regardless of the rumors, the actress didn't let any signs of sadness show while attending the Emmys over the weekend. The Puerto Rican star walked the red carpet with a smile on her face and shared snaps from the night, including a picture of her and actor John Stamos sharing a laugh, on social media.
