‘The Walking Dead’ Cast News: Chandler Riggs Makes a Cameo in ‘Fear The Walking Dead?’ [Pic]
Social media has blown up with the last episode of "Fear The Walking Dead," which reportedly showed "The Walking Dead" actor Chandler Riggs in a cameo scene walking along with a group of survivors. Of course, if the character was played by Riggs, he would not have been his same character from "The Walking Dead," Carl Grimes. But the Internet is buzzing about a specific scene that seemed to highly resemble the young star.
According to the Inquisitr, the episode in question was titled "Not Fade Away," and it was the fourth episode in the freshman run for the companion series. Though, this would not be an official crossover of the two shows, given it would have been Riggs playing a different, more obscure character, or an extra as some might say.
The scene in question came about three minutes into the episode where a group of survivors were seen walking along a street. He was sighted in the distance, but nevertheless, it did resemble the young actor.
Social media blew up on the issue, and a fan of the show posted the picture in question to Twitter on an account named The Walking Dead, unofficial.

But common sense would prevail in a situation like this. Given the picture that looked like Riggs, it was him as an older boy, not the younger version of him that would have been a lot smaller when the story was taking place. So that debunks the theory it was Carl Grimes on the scene.
In regards to it being the actor Riggs as another character, Comic Book reports it has reached out to their sources at AMC, and they have confirmed to them Riggs did not appear in the episode, which means the sighting and subsequent fan theories are false -- if the sources are correct.
