Two of television's favorite superheroes join forces for a Dubsmash video that might put to rest the perennial Marvel vs. DC debate. "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist combines powers with the "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." team Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet for the fun-filled clip.

The video was posted on Crowdrise as part of "Dubsmash Wars for Charity." You can head over to the site to watch and vote.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the project was initiated by the stars of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Agent Carter" to raise money for "Stomp Out Bullying!" and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Even masked heroes Deadpool and Batman showed up for the viral video as the comic book heroes lip-synced along to War's "Why Can't We Be Friends." Skye, Kara Zor-El, Phil Coulson, Deadpool and Batman certainly looked like cozy friends in the 10-second Vine clip, showing that — at least in the small-screen universe — the characters co-exist in peace.

The comic book stars coming together is especially timely in the wake of the conflict between the Marvel and DC parties as of late. The war between the two reigning comic book publishers has been heating up after director of DC's new "Batman v Superman" Zack Snyder took a shot at their rivals in an interview with The Daily Beast.

He began by explaining how Batman and Superman are "the most mythological of our superheroes." Snyder pointed out, "But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they're Batman and Superman."

"They're not just, like, the flavor of the week Ant-Man — not to be mean, but whatever it is," he told The Daily Beast. "What is the next Blank-Man?"

Sebastian Stan, star of Marvel's upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" as Ducky, did not take the remarks of the acclaimed director so kindly.

In an interview with Collider while promoting "The Martian" at the Toronto International Film Festival, the actor defended Marvel, saying, "I would say we're still making something very original in our own way. I mean, the Russo's are coming in and taking something people are used to and they're shaping it up and changing it in a very different way."

He countered, "They're not trying to mimic a better Christopher Nolan movie or something like that."

Despite the battle for dominance, both DC and Marvel projects are set to be two of the biggest releases in 2016. "Batman v Superman" will hit theaters first on March 25, 2016, while "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to be launched on May 6, 2016.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return for its third season on Tuesday, Sept. 29. "Supergirl" will debut on television on Oct. 26.
