Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Relationship News: DJ Planning to Propose With $1.4 Million Rock?
Calvin Harris is rumored to be preparing to propose to girlfriend Taylor Swift in an elaborate, "over-the-top" event that's set to happen in the next month.
According to Hollywood Life, the 31-year-old Harris has recently been spied shopping for bling at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills.
"He said he wanted something 'very special' for Taylor," said a source. "He was asking about the best cuts and eyed a ring that was $1.4 million. He was clearly eager to get the perfect rock, no matter the cost."
Sources also reveal the 25-year-old "Wildest Dreams" singer is not shy about sharing her love and affections for her leading man with anyone who will listen.
"At a recent dinner, she blurted it out and asked if he'd ever consider marrying her," another source added.
Word is the two have even started the process of mapping out locations and sorting through details in early planning for their big day. Reportedly, the conversations have gotten so far, they've even talked about having children together.
All the news about the couple's happy plans and good fortunes comes on the heels of recent reports that they were having troubles and may not last for much longer.
One report specifically claimed that Swift had grown weary of her boyfriend's anger issues and hot temper. Life & Style magazine reported that when the two first started dating, friends warned Swift that Harris could eventually damage her brand. His recent series of Twitter feuds with the likes of Zayn Malik seemingly left her agreeing with these early doubters.
But that simply isn't so, insist Hollywood Life sources, who claim the only thing now keeping the couple apart is busy scheduling.
"But they still talk and text every day," a source added. "They have a sexy Skype session whenever they can to keep their relationship exciting."
