A leaked screenshot of the Lumia 950 XL has corroborated with previously reported details about the handset.

According to Phone Arena, the latest image confirmed that Microsoft's upcoming smartphone will run on the company's new Windows 10 Mobile operating system and will have a 5.7-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD display. Click here to view the screenshot.

Upon closer inspection of the image, the handset will undoubtedly be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor while having 3GB of RAM. As of this moment, those are the only specs that have been confirmed.

Other rumored specs of the Lumia 950 XL include 32GB of expandable storage, USB Type-C port and 3,300 mAh battery. The handset is said to be fitted with a 20-megapixel main camera and five-megapixel front shooter.

As for the Lumia 950 XL's smaller sibling, the Lumia 950 is said to feature the following specifications:

  • 5.5-inch WQHD 1440 x 2560p OLED display
  • 64-bit Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal memory with support for micro-SD expansion
  • 3,000 mAh battery
  • 20-megapixel Pure View main camera
  • Five-megapixel wide-angle selfie shooter

Neuro Gadget pointed out that both upcoming models from Microsoft will run on Windows 10 operating system straight out the box, which will make them the first pair of mobile devices to run Microsoft's latest OS.

The Lumia 950 XL aka "Cityman" and the Lumia 950 aka "Talkman" will allegedly sport matte polycarbonate covers, which could both be offered in black or white. They will also be fitted with Iris scanners for Windows Hello.

According to eComputer via Phone Arena, the dual-SIM version of the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will retail for €749 or roughly $838 while the Lumia 950 will be priced at €659 or $738.

Both devices are expected to take center stage at Microsoft's media event in New York this coming Oct. 6. The duo will be joined by the Surface Pro 4 and the rumored Microsoft Band 2.

The Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 aren't the only Lumia devices circling the rumor mills this week. It can be remembered that the Lumia 550 has been leaked a few days ago by Russian website One Tile.

WM Power User then corroborated with the prior leak. The Lumia 550 is said to have the following specifications:

  • 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core
  • Removable SD
  • 8GB internal storage
  • 4.7-inch 720 x 1280 AMOLED display
  • White or black glossy polycarbonate
  • LTE
  • Rear camera with flash
  • Metal around the display
  • Front-facing camera with flash or Iris scanner
  • On-screen keys
  • Rear speaker on the phone's lower left

Microsoft's forthcoming budget offering will be available in Bright Red, Black, White and the previously leaked Bright Blue, WM Power User reported.
