Kim Zolciak-Biermann may not be ready to say goodbye just yet. The "Dancing with the Stars" season 21 competitor still has a chance to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy, and even after suffering a mini-stroke, she can't wait to get back into her dancing shoes.

According to a statement released via People, the reality star has been discharged from the hospital and is now recuperating at home.

"I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days," Zolciak-Biermann told People in her official release. "I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health."

Regarding her return to "Dancing with the Stars," she explained, "I can't express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing."

This means that, while the blonde 37-year-old is likely to miss next week's performance, she is open to coming back on the show to prove her worth on the dance floor. At the very least, her "Dancing with the Stars" family is firmly behind her. Pro dancer and Zolciak-Biermann's partner Tony Dovolani spoke to People to share his thoughts on his partner's stroke.

"After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is," Dovolani said. "Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it's amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery."

Earlier reports from Latin Post revealed that the star suffered a mini-stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) after her flight from Los Angeles — where "Dancing with the Stars" is currently being filmed — to her residence in Atlanta.

In her Instagram account, Zolciak-Biermann explained her ordeal, saying, "I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke) the left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone."

"I have 100%of my feeling back THANK GOD," she added, after thanking her family for their help and "quick reactions".

A report from TMZ said that her stroke revealed a serious heart condition that had gone undetected until now. While doctors were performing the treatment for her TIA, they reportedly discovered the underlying problem. The entertainment news site did not specify the exact condition.

The next episode of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 is on Monday, Sept. 28.
