Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Tori Spelling is telling friends she can't work because of a horrific burn injury she recently suffered at a Benihana restaurant.

According to Radar Online, Spelling has now filed a lawsuit against the restaurant stemming from an Easter Sunday accident, in which she fell backwards while leaving the eatery, tripping onto a scorching grill.

The 42-year-old actress and reality star was hospitalized with burns after the mishap and now claims she was also forced to endure painful skin grafts.

"It's just too painful for her to work," a source said. "There is terrible nerve damage, and Tori often feels numbness in her right hand. Tori won't be working until the lawsuit is resolved."

In fact, there is growing speculation that the daughter of legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling may never work again because of the "physical and emotional scars" she suffered.

"Tori will be going after a big payday from Benihana," the source added.

Spelling and her family have long been rumored to be struggling financially, with Spelling recently being forced to ask friends for money to pay bills. Previously, Spelling had been insisting to anyone who would listen that all was well with the family's finances.

"But after Tori asked a close friend, another well-known actress, for money, it really became apparent the family is in trouble," a source said.

Reportedly, financial problems prompted the family's recent move to a smaller residence, their third move over the last two years. For their latest move, she and husband Dean McDermott were seen moving their own possessions into their vehicles and driving off, instead of using a high-priced moving service.

McDermott was also recently accused of being a deadbeat dad by his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, who also claimed he was several months behind on child support payments for their teenage son.
