While most of us buy music from iTunes, there are many other purchasing options available for people who might want something different.

Among some other key music downloading sites include Amazon, Best Buy, and Rhapsody. The biggest difference about some of these sites -- especially Rhapsody -- is that they offer unlimited listening plans where you can listen to any song you want for one price each month.

Feel free to check out our list below. Who knows, you might even find a better option than the pay-per-song method that we usually follow with iTunes.

1. Rhapsody -- This website has a special deal and there really is not much risk involved at all considering the special free trial option. You can listen to "all the music you want" for only $10 per month, whether this means online or offline. The free trial option is 30 days, which is a great offer to help attract people who are not familiar with much of anything else other than iTunes.

2. Amazon -- Perhaps the best part about getting music on Amazon is their "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" deal. Amazon also lists a number of different options where you can buy 100 albums for $5 each as well as $0.69 songs. Additional deals can be found on the sidebar of the website.

3. MTV.com -- MTV has always been known as the main TV source for music and now the company is offering some free downloads. Click here to check out their free download options.

There are a number of other options for avid listeners but this is just a list to help you in getting started. For those of you who prefer iTunes, there's nothing wrong with that. iTunes Radio has actuall emerged as a great choice for unlimited music too, but its limited to online use.
